Now with answers!

Improv? What is improv?
We, Dead Gentlemen Improv, perform improvisational comedy theater. This means
that everything we perform is completely off the cuff (i.e. no rehearsed
scenes or lines) and made up on stage. Our shows usually consist of heavy audience suggestion and/or participation,
meaning that we get ideas and prompts for our various scenes from the audience.
Additionally, our shows are usually games-based in style, as opposed to long-form, Harold, or Theatersports
styles.
Wait, so everything in your show is made up?
Mostly. The structure of the show is set beforehand, as we do a games-based show.
The rules for each of our scenes are known by all the performers (as well as the audience), but all the content of each game/scene is completely made up on the spot.
How long are your shows?
Our shows generally last around two hours, with one ten minute intermission towards the middle-ish.
Are your shows appropriate for children?
We pride ourselves on being a "family-appropriate" show by avoiding highly sexual content and most swear words.
Our show would probably rate around the PG-13 rating, as we sometimes go into more adult-style situations. We have yet
to have any complaint by parents (and have actually been encouraged to not censor ourselves by one mother!).
What's with the top-hat guy?
That would be our mascot, Dead Melvin. Ain't he cute?
